Before I answer any question I would like to introduce my topic. My topic is "Do You Think Billons Of Dollars Shoud Be Given To NASA?". Now I will jump into conclusion backing up my opinions on why I think NASA should not be given billions of dollars.
To answer that question no, I am not. Everyone complains saying theres to many teens being active members in gangs, such as the government. If our young teens of today are involved in gangs today, why spend billions of dollars on N.A.S.A then spending it to build community services for the young people in our society? Alot of high class people talk about the low class people. Why doesn't the government build more houses for the low class people ? Instead of all this money going to N.A.S.A we need to make a change in society and do more things with the governments money.
In 2007 the annual budget was $16.8. Honestly, what can N.A.S.A be doing with all this money ? Why should these billions of dollars go to N.A.S.A ? What has N.A.S.A done for us that the government should send them billions of dollars ? Instead, we should focus more on young teens, and kids. Billions of dollars can help the low class people out. Not only the low class people, but, we can use this money to build more houses. There's plenty areas in NYC that are not the best areas you would want your child to grow up in. But, you can't really do anything about it because your budget is low. Many people think because your low class you don't work , or do anything productive with yourself. NO, that's false! There are many reasons why people are low class. Sometimes its because back then you really didn't need a degree to get a job, all you needed was your working papers. Now its rough on us because now we need degrees to get where we want to go. Some teens and kids can't get scholarships. Now,again, why give all this money to N.A.S.A when we can spend it on scholarships so our kids of the future can get a good education and get rewarded for the good deeds that they do in school ? I mean, come on now. Isn't that a good thing ? Helping out our young teens ? The government says theres to many kids dropping otu of school. Why don't you help their schools out to put extra curriculum activities in their schools to help them stay busy off the streets and have something to motivate them to keep their school grades up ?
We need to change this policy of all this money going to NASA. If we don't, who will ? America is a whole, and if we want to get somewhere, we need to work together. We can help out Hurricane Katrina victims in their time of need. We can make a change in someones life. Yeah, sure finding out about our planets and blackholes are good to know about, but not for billions of dollars to go to NASA to find out about this information. Every year NASA finds out the same things about black holes, craters, and the Earth. It's almost like an update saying the same thing over and over. Now NASA not only talks about other planets, their also talking aboput UFO'S. Now that's a little pathetic! People have said they have seen UFO'S spaceships. That's quiet humorous to me if you ask me. Even the team for NASA believes it. They have taken pictures of these "aliens". These aliens look like the type of creatures that are in movies. Basically, these pictures that were taken look fake as can be. Back to NASA finding things out about planets, we don't need all that money going to find out about the same things. I can understnd if about five thousand dollars was to go to NAS. But, all that money? It's not called for. We can do better things with that money.
In the end, the government is still giving billions of dollars to N.A.S.A. I know I'm not the only person against billions of dollars going to N.A.S.A. We need to stop this. We need to make a change in society and give money to help out our fellow citizens of the U.S.A and help our young teens and kids with schools, community services , and extra curriculum activites. So, come on people ! Let's get it together and tell the government to use their money productively to help out our kids of the future.
